Expanding the reach of stories that highlight the expertise of athletic trainers can have a huge impact on promoting the athletic training profession. For example, did you know that the NATA president is featured in a monthly column on the USA Today High School Sports site that highlights common sports-related injuries and conditions in youth athletes?  Using social media outlets to share this information with your patient population and the local community is a great way to highlight athlete safety and promote the athletic training profession.
