January 2018 PR Tip

January 22, 2018 by Todd Christman

Build relationships with other local health care professionals.

Many athletic trainers have relationships with a variety of other health care providers. While some may know a great deal about the education and skillset of athletic trainers, others may not. Take the time to develop an email or handout to share with them to introduce yourself. Be sure to include your biography and the educational background of athletic trainers, as well as a photo of your workplace or a headshot. This should be an “easy read” to help others learn more about you and the athletic training profession. If possible, print extra copies to have on hand in your workspace for those who inquire about the health care that is available to the population that you serve.
