Safe Sports School Success Story
Hawaii Baptist Academy’s Sam Lee, ATC, recently sent us an email sharing his excitement about earning a Safe Sports School Award.
In that email, Sam wrote: “Thanks for allowing us, helping us, enabling and empowering us to do something good for our community; not so much for the individual glory, but that people might see what a wonderful resource may be available to them with athletic trainers in their communities.”
Important Update On Meaningful Use
Health care systems and private clinics are in the midst of Stage 2 Meaningful Use implementation of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Incentive Programs. As an athletic trainer, you should be prepared to talk to your current or potential employer about this issue. NATA has developed resources (detailed below) to help educate and support you in these conversations.
