Empowering the Next Generation of Athletic Trainers

Connecting early and advancing professionals with the resources, support and opportunities to thrive.

The first 12 years after certification/licensure are a time of growth, connection and opportunity for many NATA members. We created two committees focused on helping members thrive during these formative years. These groups connect members, champion their interests and help shape the future of athletic training.

The NATA Early Professionals' Committee (EPC) was created to address the issues faced by athletic trainers within the first six years of initial certification/licensure as they begin in their careers.  The committee focuses on leadership, educational initiatives and professional/ethical values.

The NATA Career Advancement Committee (CAC) serves ATs in years seven through 12 after initial certification/licensure. The CAC focuses on advancing careers through improved work-life ratios, career satisfaction, professional growth and retention strategies.
