SLC Fall Panel: BOC and Beyond!
Join the NATA Student Leadership Committee for its free virtual event “NATA SLC Fall Panel: BOC and Beyond!” Taking place at 6 p.m. CST Nov. 17, the event is a learning opportunity to support students preparing to take the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer exam and enter into the workforce.
Attendees will learn from panelists – three athletic trainers from various AT settings and experienced in BOC preparation, résumé development and interviews.
SLC District Nine Rep. and Outreach Subcommittee Chair Ashley Myers will moderate the event. The panelists include:
- Dustyn Walton, PT, DPT, ATC, Duke Sports Medicine staff physical therapist and outreach athletic trainer
- Megan Pilcher, EdD, LAT, ATC, program director and assistant professor of athletic training at the University of Saint Mary
- Shelley DiCesaro, PhD, LAT, ATC, assistant professor of athletic training at the University of Pittsburgh
