President Lindley Joins COVID-19 Panel

AOSSM invites all NATA members to join a special night of elite speakers and presentations from 7 to 9 p.m. EDT July 9 to discuss COVID-19 and return to play. Access to this online event is complimentary for NATA members. 

Kicking off the evening are NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL Chief Medical Officer Allen K. Sills, MD, who will join AOSSM President James P. Bradley, MD, for a live fireside chat conversation. Topics will include the importance of player health and safety protocols in the evolving professional sports environment. These experienced leaders will share their thoughts on the vital role of the medical team in treating today’s athletes, and how that role continues to grow.

Closing out the evening is an incredible session featuring prominent members of the sports and sports medicine communities discussing the timely and important topic, Return to Play After COVID-19. This session will be moderated by Rick W. Wright, MD, and features a distinguished group of panelists including NATA President Tory Lindley, ATC, as well as Daniel E. Cooper, MD; Bert R. Mandelbaum, MD; Dawn Aponte, JD, NFL Chief Football Administrative Officer; Brian Hainline, MD, NCAA Chief Medical Officer; Drew Rosenhaus, Rosenhaus Sports; and Venus Williams, professional tennis player.
