NATA will lend its voice to the 2019 Health Professions Week (HPW), Nov. 16-21. As the biggest career event for health professions, HPW brings together various health profession organizations to promote health care careers to high school students, college students, career changers, parents, advisors and counselors. HPW is a six-day, one-stop shop of events to explore more than 20 career options.
Events and activities will take place throughout the week, including a self-care and mental health panel discussion featuring NATA President Tory Lindley, MA, ATC. The panel will air Nov. 18. During the discussion, various health care professionals will discuss work-life balance. As they watch the panel, registered participants can join the discussion in the HPW YouTube comments or on Twitter using the hashtag #HPW2019.

Learn about Shadowing (Nov. 19)
Doing it all for the ‘gram – Instagram, that is. HPW is releasing content Nov. 19 that will help participants learn about shadowing a health professional. Follow HPW on Instagram to participate.
Choose Your Own Financial Adventure (Nov. 20)
Click on the HPW Financial Aid Poll, available Nov. 20, and see how you score. HPW will provide a story with a choose-your-own plot for participants to explore several options for paying for a health professions education and implications of financial decisions.
Virtual Fair ( Live from 3 to 9 p.m. ET Nov. 21)
Join 21 health professions at this live, six-hour event where attendees can engage with current health professions students, professionals, practitioners and representatives of the participating organizations.
