Pin Collectors Meet at NATA 2025
An NATA 75th anniversary special event, hosted by the NATA Historical Commission, brought together pin collecting enthusiasts during the 76th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo June 24-27 in Orlando.
More than 30 athletic trainers and athletic training students attended the NATA Pin Collectors' Meet and Greet, organized by Historical Commission member Jeff Stone, MEd, LAT, ATC, an NATA Hall of Fame Class of 2012 member, to exchange and trade pins and patches.
ATs Care Offers Peer-to-Peer Support
To assist NATA members with critical incidents, the creation of the ATs Care Program was approved by the NATA Board of Directors in 2015.
District Four Subdivide Provides New Opportunities
In January 2020, NATA announced that District Four would subdivide into two districts: District Four and District Eleven. Originally, the subdivide was going to take place Jan. 1; however, as the COVID-19 pandemic progressed, the decision was made to move it to Jan. 1, 2022.

NATA is a featured partner in the 2021 Health Professions Week (HPW), Nov. 4-11. As the biggest career event for health professions, HPW brings together various health profession organizations to promote health care careers to high school students, college students, career changers, parents, advisors and counselors. HPW is an eight-day, one-stop shop of events to explore more than 20 career options.

NATA Reaches Gamers Through Twitch
NATA educated Twitch viewers about athletic trainers and the importance of their unique skills for the gaming/esports patient population during three advertisement “game breaks” during the Oct. 18 Icy Hot 2K22 Charity Tournament, hosted by Icy Hot and The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation with support from NATA. The goal was to educate and advocate to student athletes and gamers naturally where they gather and interact with popular culture.
