MASS PARTICIPATION COVERAGE

This course aims to identify the unique challenges of organizing a mass participation event. It also seeks to help attendees recognize the role of each participant of the medical team in the coverage of a mass participation event. It will help find equipment needs specific to mass participation events and identify the necessity of planning and rehearsal of required tasks at a mass participation event.


WHEN NONSPECIFIC LOW BACK PAIN GOES SIDEWAYS: FIBROMYALGIA IN THE COLLEGE STUDENT ATHLETE

The aim of this course is to pinpoint key red flags for non-orthopedic etiologies of back pain. It also seeks to outline best practices for a multimodal treatment strategy for a patient with fibromyalgia. It aims to describe the current literature regarding risk factors for fibromyalgia diagnosis.
