Breaking News: NATA President-Elect Announced
The results of the NATA 2026 presidential election are in – David Gallegos, MA, ATC, Cert. MDT, is NATA’s new president-elect.
"It has truly been my honor to participate in the election process,” Gallegos said. “Thank you to the NATA Presidential Election Oversight Task Force for their diligent work and to the NATA staff and board for the welcoming support. I truly appreciate the financial support from RMATA to make the process achievable. Most importantly, thank you to my colleague Rob Marshall for being an outstanding teammate. You made the process a wonderful memory in and of itself. I am more than humbled and aware of the significant responsibility. Between now and my term, I will continue to learn from President Duffy and Executive Director Pillman and offer my perspective. I have connected with so many amazing ATs over the last eight months. Thank you and be aware I will be calling on you.”
Gallegos will take office during NATA 2027 in June 2027 in New Orleans and will serve a three-year term.
