Following the conclusion of Face Time ’26, during which NATA presidential candidates David Gallegos, MA, ATC, Cert. MDT, and Rob Marshall, LAT, ATC, delivered their final addresses to attendees of the 77th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo, all eligible members received an email July 1 containing their ballot and unique, non-transferable voting link.
Prior to the start of the 2026 NATA Joint Committee Meeting Jan. 31 in Dallas, the NATA Presidential Nomination Committee convened to select the final two candidates for NATA’s next president. The final two candidates are David Gallegos, MA, ATC, Cert. MDT, and Rob Marshall, LAT, ATC.

As chair of the NATA Presidential Election Procedures Workgroup, I am excited to report that 24.9 percentage of eligible members voted in this year’s NATA presidential election, compared to 21.9 percent during the 2017 election.
For the last time before the NATA presidential election closes, candidates Kathy Dieringer, EdD, LAT, ATC, and Katie Walsh Flanagan, EdD, LAT, ATC, went live to answer member-submitted questions during Face Time ’20 at the 2020 NATA Virtual Clinical Symposia & AT Expo July 15.
Voting for the NATA presidential election is July 1-31. As with previous NATA presidential elections, voting will be conducted electronically. All certified NATA members with a valid email address will be sent an email July 1 with further voting instructions. This email will be sent from NATA Election Coordinator noreply@directvote.net.
