NATA Beat: Fall 2025 Advocacy Updates

Every day, NATA and the NATA Government Affairs Department are working on behalf of the athletic training profession. With staff members experienced in all aspects of the legislative process, the NATA Government Affairs Department is the sole department focused on advocacy for the profession. NATA’s goal is to ensure that all ATs can work to the fullest extent of their education and skill set.

NATA Employee Partner: Children’s Mercy Kansas City

Introduced in the January NATA News, the NATA Employer Program was created as a pilot by NATA to partner with and be a resource for athletic training employers. One such program participant is Children’s Mercy Kansas City, serving the pediatric population in the metropolitan areas of Missouri and Kansas.

As your source of lifelong learning, NATA EducATe provides users with an extensive educational library, a customizable experience, the ability to interact with peers and more.

New courses are constantly being added to the platform to ensure you have the knowledge needed to stay up to date in your practice – as well as earn CEUs.

NATA Website Gets a Refresh

UPDATE: The website upgrade has been moved from July 8 to August 6th.

Around 10 p.m. CDT August 6th, the NATA website will be taken down for approximately six hours as staff transitions the website to Drupal 10, an upgraded content management system.
