New Courses Released in August

As your source of lifelong learning, NATA EducATe provides users with an extensive educational library, a customizable experience, the ability to interact with peers and more.

New courses are constantly being added to the platform to ensure you have the knowledge needed to stay up to date in your practice – as well as earn CEUs. 

Enhanced access to the entire NATA EducATe On-Demand Course Catalog is also now available to NATA members, so take advantage of these courses.

Supporting Future ATs

In the near 60,000-person town of Marietta, Georgia, Jeff Hopp, LAT, ATC, joined Marietta High School in 2002 as the only athletic trainer on the sports medicine team, which also included a physician and six athletic training student aides. Through his near 20-year career with Marietta High School, Hopp has been able to get the support of administration and the community by educating them on the importance of prioritizing athletic training services.

Get Ready for COPA Con 2021

After years of discussion and brainstorming, the NATA Council on Practice Advancement will hold the first-ever NATA COPA Con 2021 Virtual Conference on Practice Advancement live from 2 to 6 p.m. CST March 26 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST March 27, and on-demand through April 27.

Focusing on the physician practice and health care administration settings, the goal of COPA Con 2021 is to shape attendees into better leaders in the clinic and hospital spaces and provide them with strategies to better showcase their value to employers.

AT Irreplaceable in On-Campus Testing, Care

Over the past year, collegiate athletic trainers on campuses big and small have stepped up to slow the spread of and manage the COVID-19 pandemic. While many ATs have transitioned to testing and even vaccinating in the athletics department, some institutions have turned to their athletic trainers to take the lead for the entire campus as essential health care providers.
