NATA Timely Topics kicks off anew this year with “The State of Athletic Training: College/University Employment” at 1 p.m. CST March 2.
Now that member renewal season has begun, we want to share with you how your investment with NATA advances you and the profession forward.
The next NATA Timely Topics Series is at 11 a.m. CDT Oct. 12. This month’s series, which is hosted by NATA President Kathy Dieringer, EdD, LAT, ATC, includes one event: “The AT and Mental Health, Fueled by Gatorade Performance Partner” presented by Bhrett McCabe, PhD. The event is free for NATA members and $45 for nonmembers.
McCabe will cover mental health tips for athletic trainers as well as their athletes.
The January NATA Timely Topics Series, moderator Donita Valentine, DAT, ATC, SFMA, will center on self-care and work-life balance strategies for the AT.
The NATA Timely Topics Series provides members with an engaging, high-level introductory conversation about a hot topic in athletic training. Each event will give attendees the chance to connect in real-time to thought leaders who have anecdotal success within these areas of interest as well as access to a library of related resources.
