NATA Foundation Celebrates Support at NATA 2025

Throughout the 76th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo, held June 24-27 in Orlando, attendees had opportunities to connect with and support the NATA Research & Education Foundation.
“This year’s convention was a huge success for the NATA Foundation because it highlighted the strength of our community and the power of our mission,” said NATA Foundation Director Kathryn LaLonde.
“We would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the NATA Foundation’s events and supported us during this year’s NATA convention. Your participation and generosity directly drive our mission to advance research, education and scholarships for athletic trainers. Every ticket purchased, donation made and conversation shared with the NATA Foundation helps create opportunities for the athletic training community – whether that’s funding innovative research, supporting students through scholarships, or strengthening the profession as a whole.”
The NATA Foundation kicked off its NATA 2025 events with the ParTee for ATs, held June 24 at Topgolf. More than 300 attendees came together for a relaxing evening of camaraderie and competition. In total, the event raised more than $37,800 to support the NATA Foundation’s mission.
As the convention progressed, the NATA Foundation hosted networking events, such as the Mentor Meetup and Pinky Newell Student Leadership Reception; conversations in the NATA Hub; and educational programming, such as the Distinguished Scholars Lecture Exchange and Free Communications Program, which featured 153 oral presentations and 120 posters this year.
“The NATA convention continues to be a fantastic opportunity for ATs to connect, engage and learn,” LaLonde said. “We’re truly grateful to be part of this exciting event each year.”
