The 74th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo, taking place June 21-24 in Indianapolis, is just days away, and with it, the annual Athletic Training Student Seminar and a host of opportunities for student attendees to network and celebrate the profession.
The 11 teams that will compete at the 2023 NATA Quiz Bowl, sponsored by Henry Schein in Indianapolis have been determined. Scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on June 23 at the 74th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo, the quiz bowl features teams from each district in a Jeopardy-style competition. More than bragging rights will be on the line as the top three teams will receive prize packages from Henry Schein.

With a heart for education, NATA Education Advancement Committee member Tricia Kasamatsu, PhD, ATC, said she has always been eager to guide students to success. Athletic training has been that conduit for this passion.
As part of Phase Six of NATA’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access (DEIA) Response Plan, each NATA committee, commission and council was tasked with developing three to five actionable items that support one or more of the six NATA DEIA Commitments.
The next NATA Timely Topics event, “The AT Student and Salary Negotiations,” at 7 p.m. CDT Nov. 15, is planned to help alleviate the concerns athletic training students have about salary negotiations.
