Pin Collectors Meet at NATA 2025

An NATA 75th anniversary special event, hosted by the NATA Historical Commission,  brought together pin collecting enthusiasts during the 76th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo June 24-27 in Orlando. 

More than 30 athletic trainers and athletic training students attended the NATA Pin Collectors' Meet and Greet, organized by Historical Commission member Jeff Stone, MEd, LAT, ATC, an NATA Hall of Fame Class of 2012 member, to exchange and trade pins and patches.

Finding Love at NATA

Athletic training is a profession built on relationships. Just as important as the relationships ATs build with their patients are the ones they build with each other. NATA is often a conduit for these relationships, providing members with opportunities for collaboration, connection and a sense of belonging. Learning to Advance the Profession

The melding of medicine and sports became a lifetime opportunity for Alexis Lyons, an athletic training student, whose extended hours in the athletic training facility after an injury helped define her passion for the profession.

Announcing: NATA DEIA Council

In 2021, the NATA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access Task Force was introduced and charged with bringing the association’s six DEIA commitments to life. This year, in order to continue this work well into the future, the NATA Board of Directors approved the formation of the NATA DEIA Council.
