Every day, NATA and the NATA Government Affairs Department are working on behalf of the athletic training profession. With staff members experienced in all aspects of the legislative process, the NATA Government Affairs Department is the sole department focused on advocacy for the profession. NATA’s goal is to ensure that all ATs can work to the fullest extent of their education and skill set.
Honoring the 2025 National Award Recipients
During the NATA Hall of Fame Induction and National Awards Ceremony June 25 in Orlando, NATA recognized its 2025 national award recipients. As the winners walked the stage with their plaques, they were greeted with handshakes and hugs from NATA President A.J. Duffy III, MS, ATC, PT, and standing ovations from the crowd. NATAPAC Keynote Highlights Impactful Leadership
In the Chuck Kimmel Memorial NATAPAC Luncheon keynote address, Mark Coberley, MS LAT, ATC, NATA Hall of Fame member and past District Five director, offered reflections on leadership, advocacy and the power of consistent, intentional action.
Speaking to a room of emerging and established leaders, he delivered a compelling message built not on personal accolades, but on decades of observation and lived experience.
NATA Names Mollie Pillman as Executive Director
NATA announced that Mollie Pillman, MS, MBA, CAE, will begin her role as executive director Sept. 2. Pillman was selected following a highly competitive national search led by executive search firm Vetted Solutions.
NATA 2025 On-Demand Now Open
NATA 2025 On-Demand is now available to in-person attendees and on-demand registrants through Oct. 31.
NATA Hall of Fame Inductees Celebrated
The 76th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo June 24-27 in Orlando marked a special opportunity for the NATA Hall of Fame Class of 2025 to be honored as loved ones bestowed their green jackets to them. The new Hall of Fame members also celebrated this monumental feat in their athletic training career with fellow NATA Hall of Fame peers.
New NATA EducATe Courses Released in July

Designed to inspire, educate and empower attendees, the 76th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo, June 24-27 in Orlando, featured the latest innovations, expert-led sessions and a variety of learning formats tailored to meet attendees’ professional development needs.
NATA Employee Partner: Sanford Health
