The NATA Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of recognition for members, honoring a select group of athletic trainers who have shaped the athletic training profession and exemplified what it means to live a life of service.
In honor of Women’s History Month this March, NATA is highlighting women in the profession who are working to advance athletic training through recruitment, retention and leadership.
Athletic training is among the fastest growing professions in health care. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 17%* job growth over the next 10 years, much faster than average growth projections.
COPA Con, a virtual conference on athletic training practice advancement, is back this year with live educational programming for a variety of settings March 31-April 1 and on-demand access, along with networking opportunities for peer-to-peer discussion, through May 1. Both live and on-demand attendees can earn more than 10 CEUs.
NATA Timely Topics kicks off anew this year with “The State of Athletic Training: College/University Employment” at 1 p.m. CST March 2.

The next NATA Timely Topics event, “The AT Student and Salary Negotiations,” at 7 p.m. CDT Nov. 15, is planned to help alleviate the concerns athletic training students have about salary negotiations.
As part of Phase Six of NATA’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access (DEIA) Response Plan, each NATA committee, commission and council was tasked with developing three to five actionable items that support one or more of the six NATA DEIA Commitments.
