CEU Reporting Cycle FAQs

 

Q: HOW DO I FIND MY STATEMENTS OF CREDIT/CERTIFICATES? 

A: Access your Statements of Credit and print your certificates using the links below:

  • Certificates from NATA EducATe Courses & Events (including courses completed on the NATA Professional Development Center from 2018-23) can be found under My Transcript in your NATA EducATe account. 
  • Certificates from other education events including the in-person NATA convention, Advanced Tracks, on-demand NATA convention, COPA Con 2022 and 2023, VATEC 2022 and 2023 can be found in the Statement of Credit Portal. Be sure to use the email address that you used to register for the event.

 

Q. HOW DO I REPORT MY CEUS FOR THIS REPORTING PERIOD?

A: Your CEUs are reported through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC). Visit www.bocatc.org for more information and to report your CEUs.

 

Q. WHERE DO I FIND THE NAME OF THE PROVIDER OR THE PROVIDER NUMBER?

A: You can find this information in the bottom paragraph of the Statement of Credit that shows your CEUs. The provider number is next to the BOC AP#. NATA’s provider number is P100.

Q: HOW DO I LOG INTO THE NATA EDUCATE?

A: Navigate to educate.nata.org. Click the blue Log In button above the left sidebar menu. Log in to the website using the email and password associated with your NATA account. Check out the Getting Started webpage to learn more about navigating the system. 

If you have never been a member or used the NATA Professional Development Center, you can create a new nonmember account to access courses at the nonmember rate. 

 

Q: I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH A COURSE VIDEO. CAN YOU HELP ME?

A: Access the Help/Contact Us webpage of NATA EducATe for video troubleshooting tips. If these tips don’t resolve the issue, complete the Tech Help contact form for assistance. 

 

Q: I CAN’T SEE MY PURCHASED COURSES AND/OR MY PREPAID BALANCE.

A: Check the NATA EducATe Getting Started and FAQ webpages for help on how to access purchased courses , view your Statements of Credit, and view your Prepaid Balance (membership credit). If you need further assistance, complete the Tech Help contact form on the Help/Contact Us webpage. 

 

Q: HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE MY COURSE BEFORE IT EXPIRES?

A: You will generally have 12 months from the date of purchase to complete your course (unless otherwise noted in the course). If not completed by the purchase expiration date, the course will be removed from your account. Courses within special events, such as virtual conferences, encore events, etc., will only be available during the advertised window. The complete NATA EducATe expiration date policy can be viewed on the FAQ webpage. 

 

Q: HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO USE THE MEMBERSHIP CREDIT (PREPAID BALANCE) ISSUED TO ME BY NATA WHEN I RENEWED MY MEMBERSHIP?

A: The $150 credit is available to be redeemed February through December and expire at midnight CST Dec. 31 of the membership year.

 

Q: I PURCHASED AN ONLINE COURSE I DON’T WANT. HOW CAN I REQUEST A REFUND?

A: Refunds must be requested within 30 days of purchase and will be refunded to the original form of payment. If you would like to request a refund, complete the Refund Request form located on the Contact Us webpage.

 


 

Becoming an Athletic Trainer
 

Q: DO I NEED A SPECIFIC UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE TO BECOME AN AT?

A: You must have a degree in athletic training from an accredited program. The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education is the best resource to find accredited programs. For exam requirements, visit the BOC website.
