AUTO-RENEWAL INFORMATION

 

NATA now offers auto-renewal of your membership dues.  With auto renewal, starting in January your annual dues will be processed in monthly installment payments.  This seamless payment plan is easy on the budget and eliminates interruptions to your membership benefits. All you need to do is check the box “Sign me up” when renewing your dues.

NATA Auto-Renewal and Installment Terms and Conditions

For Your NATA Membership and Other Voluntary Contributions:

PLEASE READ ALL THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS") CAREFULLY. THESE TERMS APPLY TO YOU AND AUTOPAYMENT OF YOUR ANNUAL NATA DUES ON A MONTHLY BASIS ("MONTHLY INSTALLMENT PAYMENT"), INCLUDING ANY VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE. YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. THESE TERMS MAY IMPACT YOUR NATA MEMBERSHIP. YOUR MONTHLY AUTOPAYMENTS ARE EXPRESSLY CONDITIONED UPON YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS. 

 

AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS:

YOU SHOULD READ THESE TERMS EACH YEAR, AS THEY ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. HOWEVER,  SUCH CHANGE SHALL NOT AFFECT YOUR PREVIOUS YEAR OF MONTHLY INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS. YOUR MONTHLY INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS IN EFFECT AT THE TIME OF YOUR AUTHORIZATION TO START MONTHLY INSTALLMENT PAYMENT. 

 

PART I: MONTHLY INSTALLMENT PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION  

  1. You agree that you are responsible for making on-time dues payments and that the Monthly Installment Payment plan for paying your NATA annual membership dues over the course of 12 months is not a monthly dues subscription, but a monthly Installment payment plan.   

  2. By clicking the Customizable Payment Plan option when joining or renewing, you authorize NATA to:  
    1. Automatically obtain regular monthly installment payments to pay your NATA dues and/or any voluntary contributions in the amount equivalent to 1/12 of your annual dues, and  
    2. Charging your credit card or e-check account that you stipulated.  
  3. By authorizing Monthly Installment Payment described above, you authorize NATA to initiate your first monthly payment today and on or after the same day each month thereafter.  
  4. You have chosen to pay with a credit card or e-check and therefore, you authorize us to obtain payment via any credit card issued as a replacement or substitute for the card specified above, if applicable. 
  5. NATA will provide you at least 30 days written notice of any change to the price of dues, which will go into effect at the start of the subsequent membership year. If you change District or State, during a dues year, the rate change will go into effect at the start of the subsequent membership year.  
  6. Your authorization of Monthly Installment Payment will continue until you or we cancel it. 
  7. You may cancel Monthly Installment Payment at any time but your outstanding balance is still owed.
  8. All payments are non-refundable. You understand per Bylaws Article 3, Section 3.5 and 3.6 that dues are non-refundable and nontransferable.  
  9. In order to cancel Monthly Installment Payment, you must submit your cancellation request in writing by email to membership@nata.org, at least 7 days before the scheduled payment date. There is no fee to cancel Monthly Installment Payment. If we receive your cancellation request fewer than 7 days before your next scheduled payment date, your Monthly Payment will process as normal and the cancellation will be effective for your next scheduled payment.  
  10. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will be notified by NATA. You are responsible for making on-time dues payments. NATA will attempt to process your payment multiple times. Interruption of your preauthorized credit card or e-check, whether by you or by us, will not relieve you of your responsibility to make payments by some other method. If Monthly Installment Payment is discontinued and you do not make a payment by some other method,  your NATA membership will end on your Member Thru Date. 
    1. The 30-day dues payment period begins from the paid-through date. You may update your payment method or pay your remaining dues in full during this grace period.
    2. After the 30-day period ends, your membership will expire.   
    3. If you believe your Monthly Payment will not process on time for any reason, 
      1. You may choose to pay in full.
      2. You may choose to change your payment method.
      3. You may choose to make an individual one-time payments by calling 972-532-8897.  

 

PART II: GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO MONTHLY PAYMENT  

  1. Acceptance of These Terms: A checked radial button during your membership renewal means you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein including but not limited to being responsible for the payment of your NATA dues. 
  2. Severability: Each provision of the Agreement shall be considered severable such that if any one provision or clause conflicts with existing or future applicable law or may not be given full effect because of such law, it shall not affect any other provision of the Agreement which can be given effect without the conflicting provision or clause. 

 

NATA Auto-Renewal (in full) Terms and Conditions

I authorize NATA to continue to charge my credit card or e-check for my full dues from year to year until such time I notify NATA to cancel auto-renew in writing by email to membership@nata.org. I understand that my NATA membership will be renewed annually by charging my credit card or e-check, along with voluntary contributions.  If I close this account, I agree to notify NATA's Member Services Department of the specifics of my new account or how the outstanding balance will be paid. I understand that if I fail to meet my payment obligation to NATA, my membership will be terminated.
