NATA announced that Mollie Pillman, MS, MBA, CAE, will begin her role as executive director Sept. 2. Pillman was selected following a highly competitive national search led by executive search firm Vetted Solutions.

It is unique, however, to appreciate the role our current decisions have in validating our past and even rarer to consider the value assigned by our daily interactions on our past, present and future professional capacities. It might even be a paradigm shift to realize our past defines our present, the present develops our future and the process is ever evolving.

EAC: Goals and Initiatives

The NATA Education Advancement Committee (EAC) was established in 2015 as a committee under the Executive Council for Education. The mission of the committee is to identify short- and long-term educational research priorities, advance evidence-based scholarship and assess best practices related to athletic training education in order to enhance clinical practice and patient care. EAC aims to assist athletic trainers in the development and execution of their research agendas related to education.
