The Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training Honor Society was founded in 2005 and serves to promote academic excellence, scholarly inquiry, leadership development, service, and professional engagement within the athletic training profession. ITA chapters are established at institutions with accredited athletic training programs or athletic training-related doctoral programs.
The ITA Constitution and By-Laws document provides the membership requirements and governance of ITA and affiliated chapters.
