BOC RECERTIFICATION FEE CHANGE

Please note, NATA certified members are now responsible for their BOC recertification fee of $34, which is a 32% discount for members (non-members pay $50). Previously NATA paid $14.50 for certified members to the BOC from dues. To help NATA fund the strategic activities so critical to advancing and preserving the profession, NATA will retain those funds. Anticipating this change, NATA has kept dues level since 2006, to limit the financial impact on members. This change is important because it enhances the BOC's credibility and helps ensure its stability as a separate entity. The 32% discounted fee is obtained by bundling it with dues. Sports Health: A Multidisciplinary Approach is a publication that offers comprehensive, practical information for athletic trainers. NATA members can subscribe to Sports Health for $35 per year (a savings of $98) for 6 issues and get access to 3 Free CEU Bucks (via the NATA Website).

WEBINARS

NATA Webinars bring you experts, via the Internet, presenting important topics in the field of athletic training and an opportunity to earn CEU credit. Most webinars run one hour and fifteen minutes and include an audio/visual presentation and time for questions. Attending a live NATA Webinar allows you to report in Category A to the Board of Certification. (You must attend the entire duration of the webinar.)
