Abstract:

Professional Yoga Therapy leads the way in medical yoga today by providing post-graduate application of medical therapeutic yoga through an evidence based lens.  Our programs cover every system in the human body and treat the whole person by providing a standardized methodology for evaluation, prevention, and management of pathophysiology through education in evidence based CAM modalities.

Module 4 provides immediate clinical application in medical therapeutic yoga for all patient populations through critical analysis of evidence based principles in kinesthetic awareness, respiration, stabilization and motor control, mobilization, balance, support, and meditation and their relationship to and application of the PYT conceptual model.

Through the use of PYT principles in medical therapeutic yoga, health care professionals can create and oversee yoga and yoga therapy classes within their own facility, conducted and closely supervised by their own professionally trained staff. Module 4 builds on Modules 1-3, however the clinician has the option of taking the modules out of order
