Using the systems approach evaluative model can also help prevent injury and assist in shifting from a pathology based to a holistically based health care model. Learn how yoga, when it is applied with evidence based medicine, can be used to optimize patient outcomes, maximize performance, and create effective rehabilitation programs. You will learn how yoga can be used to help evaluate and treat the athlete, understand a new therapeutic evaluative paradigm for use in the athlete, apply evidence based methodology for incorporating yoga in your clinical practice, and learn how to evaluate existing yoga programs for content, safety, and validity.
