NATA defends right to fair practice
On February 1, 2008, NATA filed a civil lawsuit against the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The suit cites antitrust laws and other violations.
On April 15, 2008, NATA filed responses to APTA's motion to dismiss NATA's Complaint and APTA's motion to transfer venue. NATA will be responding to the Orthopaedic Section's motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction after it obtains discovery from the Orthopaedic Section that the Court ordered NATA is entitled to have. That discovery has been ordered to occur by early May. MEMBERS: go HERE for more information.
