Dale Googins
Dale Googins has devoted his career to promoting athletic training and has continued his efforts even after retiring from the athletic training room. Googins earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. Upon graduation, he joined Bowling Green as an assistant athletic trainer. He became head athletic trainer and associate professor at Denison University in 19XX and served in that capacity until 1997, when he retired. Googins serves as a test site administrator for the NATA Board of Certification and is a member of the team that writes test questions for the certification exam. Googins has been an active member of the NATA, attending every annual meeting since 1962 and earning numerous awards for his contributions to the profession.
