Members: Time to verify and update your NPI info
CMS will release information from the NPPES on providers with NPI numbers beginning June 28, 2007. If you need to correct or update any information, you need to do it before this date. Also if you entered optional information that you do not want released, such as your business address, phone number and fax number, you can remove this from your record.

CMS will not release your SSN, Tax ID, DOB nor state or country of birth.
Once the website is operational users will be able to look up a provider by name or NPI.
