NATA announces its support of new Senate bill

On September 28, the U.S. Senate introduced the "Access to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services Improvement Act of 2006 (S. 3963)." This is a crucial piece of legislation for two reasons: it essentially overturns the CMS incident-to rule and is consistent with existing law; and it makes athletic trainers and lymphedema therapists covered providers under Medicare.
