Athletic trainers keeping students safe
This month's edition of the American School Board Journal features a great write-up on athletic trainers in the secondary school setting. The cover story encourages the use of athletic trainers as part of high school sports safety and risk management programs.
In addition, the print version of the article features a large quote box with the following: “If I had one take-home message for board members, it would be that getting a certified athletic trainer is a good insurance policy.” The NATA also has a half-page ad appearing in the magazine in conjunction with the article.
